MIRET offers a range of programme using its experienced lecturers.

  • Singing workshops by Ida Kelarováand her artistic team (in addition to those already announced
  • Dance workshops traditional Roma dance for men
  • Dance workshops traditional Roma dance for women
  • Seminars about Roma language and history, traditions and customs conducted by Roma studies experts who graduated in Roma Studies from the Philosophical Faculty at Prague’s Charles University.
  • Motivational seminars about the Roma identity
  • Roma language courses (group, individual, company) conducted by Roma studies experts who graduated in Roma Studies from the Philosophical Faculty at Prague’s Charles Univesity
  • Seminars about Roma literature together with readings of books by Roma authors and Roma fairy tales
  • Explanatory seminars for those who know nothing about the Roma, primarily aimed at representatives of the majority population as a means of overcoming prejudices.
  • Musical, singing, and dance workshops for primary, middle, and grammar schools in the Czech Republic and abroad.
  • Supervision association with musical education for teachers working with Roma children and youth
  • Cooperation with choral groups
  • Meetings with socially disadvantaged families and community centre
  • Meetings with foster families that have adopted Roma children.
  • Meetings with the general public, including presentations of the non-profit organisation MIRET and screening of thematic films
