„THE FAMILY TABLE“ in Israel – September 2010

„THE FAMILY TABLE“ in Israel is the project of David Maayn, a famous Israeli theatre director and founder of the Acco and Shlomi Alternative Theatre Center in Israel.

At Ida Kelarová's recommendation, director David Maayan invited the young talented pianist Tomáš Klač to collaborate with him on the musical score, music directing and the overall music production of the theatre play "The Family Table".

For this project, Tomáš Kačo fully filled in for Ida Kelarová, and after 5 years of working as her assistant and artistic co-creator for workshops and projects, was able to work independantly on such a prestigious project, which "The Family Table" undoubtedly was. The play was performed at the festival "Theatre festival Acco" on 22.-28. September 2010 and was met with great success.

MIRET and its founder and Artistic Director Ida Kelarová have reached a stage in which they can entrust young talented Roma, the participants of Performing Arts camps, with duties and responsibilites representing MIRET.

The success of project "The Family Table" led by Tomáš Kača, and the positive response it received opened new opportunities for future collaborations in Israel.
